Situated on its own with no neighbours, but only a very short drive to all amenities, this is going to be a ‘coup de couer’ for someone! At the end of a very pretty lane, we come to a small hamlet, with the birds singing and not another sound – it was a shame to enter the house, really!
Into the hall, we have a WC then we come through into a big, light, airy, stone tiled fitted kitchen and diner of around 30m² with French windows out to the terrace. The first bedroom has a door out to the terrace and has a lovely en-suite bathroom. A big sitting room has the biggest woodburner I have ever seen, exposed beams and an old Limousin sink with ‘oueil de bouef’ window. A 2nd ground floor bedroom is around 15m² with another door leading out to the front of the house.
Upstairs, we have one small and one large and very pretty bedroom and a very classy bathroom. Outside, we have a big barn attached to the house as well as a run of barns and old houses – the left half has been tidied up with new roof, new cement floor and new doors, the half to the right awaits this makeover, but a small habitable part at the end has a kitchen / diner, bedroom and shower room.
The whole is in such a beautiful position that you will spend a lot of time on a visit, OUTSIDE the house listening to the birds – fantastic location!
