Situated in the historic area of town with a short walk to all amenities, this is simply gorgeous! Into the house we have a very long hallway, with, to the right a double garage and a cellar area. Beyond the stair we have a WC and then a big old kitchen / diner of around 30m² with fantastic old beams – beautiful!
Up the very old oak stairs we pass a shower room and carry on to a big landing with, to the right a huge room of around 40m² with another kitchen, a bar and a sitting room with fireplace, huge beams, again, and terracotta floors – the old, very French, wallpaper has been retained and gives the room a marvelous feel of historic France. To the left of the landing we have a charming hand basin in a hall that takes us to 2 bedrooms of 16m² and 20m² – very comfortable but still, lovely.
Continuing up the amazing stair we arrive at the top of the house where an attic exists to the right with fantastic beams, to the left the attic has been converted into a really pretty 3rd bedroom with more of those awesome beams!
Outside, we have a terrace, then an open barn through which we pass to the veggie garden – around 130m² and all walled and very private! This is a house that is full of character – it is like going back in time but with all mod cons – I loved it!
