Situated on the main square of the mediaeval quarter, this is a very sought after location following a big investment made by the town. In through the main door we have a lobby with WC and sink. To the left we have a basic kitchen with its own front door through which we pass, past another WC to a sitting room of around 22m² with a door out to a courtyard which faces out onto the old market square – used for musical entertainments at weekends in the summer.
Up a very old stair we come to a landing with a shower room and the first bedroom of around 22m² with fantastic old fireplace and a view over the square. A second bedroom on the other side of the landing is around 16m² and has access to a big, very high quality, “Jack and Jill” bathroom. The other side of the bathroom is another bedroom of around 16m² with exposed beam and a sink.
Through this last bedroom, we go down a 2nd staircase to a big dining room of 18m² through which we pass back into the original lobby. Complicated but fun, great features, gas central heating, double glazing throughout, a small attic and that funky little courtyard – lovely.
Over the road from the front door we have a cellar and a summer kitchen behind which there is a really pretty garden of around 200m². Really interesting house!
